Clearly comfortable in her own skin, photographer Erica Simone makes a bold statement of “Just being” in her series of nude photos taken in very public spaces in New York. Properly titled Nue York, the project features her nude self (save for the occasional non disruptive accessory – i.e. shoes or hat) carrying out everyday tasks such as shoveling snow, hitting the hot dog stand, and riding the subway. Oh, did we mention she was naked? Despite the fact that she is not at all hard to look at, Erica inspires us to be bold, even if that means exposes yourself a little.
